I’m a designer embarking on my journey in the design world. My path began in the entertainment industry as a stagehand, where I toured as a head carpenter before moving into props. As a Prop Master, I had the incredible opportunity to travel the country with various shows. While I loved this work and my connection to the stage, I realized something was missing. I felt drawn toward a new direction, though I wasn’t sure what it would be.
As someone who has always loved storytelling, I knew it had to play a key role in my next chapter. This passion led me to design—a field that surrounds us in both bold and subtle ways. I realized that combining storytelling with thoughtful, effective design is where I truly belong. So, I decided to embrace this path and become the designer I’ve always aspired to be. I’m eager to connect with you and collaborate on creating designs that tell meaningful stories and resonate with everyone.
How I got started in design
I studied Visual Communication at San Francisco State University (SFSU) in the School of Design, where I developed a strong interest in interactive design. I became passionate about finding ways to engage users and create seamless, intuitive experiences across apps, posters, books, magazines, and websites. My goal is always to make designs simpler and more engaging for users.
What I'm curious about
Focusing on telling stories through thoughtful design, I aim to engage users using visuals and minimal text. My priority is creating intuitive navigation that makes interactions seamless and enjoyable.
